About Rui
Hi, I’m Rui (Ray), a UX designer currently soaking up the California vibes. Over the past three years, I’ve been crafting user experiences for B2B SaaS applications, CRM dashboards, mobile apps, and marketing websites. I've worked both in-house and with design consultancy agencies, and have designed for a variety of industries, including IT management, manufacturing, e-commerce, higher education, and NGOs.

My absolute favorite part of UX design?
Getting deep into the user's head to figure out what's bugging them. And when I see users seamlessly interacting with something I've designed. That's the magic moment! Life's already a roller-coaster, I’d like to make someone's ride a tad smoother.
Before diving into UX design I wore two other hats:
content marketer and ESL teacher. The marketing gig let me flex my creative storytelling muscles. Teaching? It trained me to be an empathetic listener to my students. Now, in UX, those skills come in handy, making me a better designer for you! 🌟
